NN Rent a Car is a car rental company in Belgrade, Serbia. Elevio Solutions designed and built its website: a custom WordPress theme built for this site, integration of the client’s own booking engine into a clean reservation flow, and SEO research and implementation for the Serbian-language market.
The Brief
Car rental is a comparison purchase. A visitor who needs a car opens several tabs, scans fleets and prices, and books wherever the process feels quickest and most trustworthy. Most of that impression is engineering: how fast the page paints, and how few steps stand between choosing a car and reserving it.
NN Rent a Car owns its booking engine. What they needed from us was the front of house: a site fast and credible enough to win the comparison, and the search visibility to get into those open tabs in the first place.
What We Built
We designed and built a custom WordPress theme: PHP templates, SCSS, and vanilla JavaScript. That is how we build every site (our WordPress development service explains the approach), and on a conversion-focused site it matters more than usual. A visitor comparing rental fleets on a phone will not wait, so the site ships only what each page actually uses. That is where fast load times come from. The Booking Integration
The booking engine itself is owned by the client. Our job was implementation: integrating the client’s engine into the new site so the path from browsing the fleet to submitting a reservation is short and obvious.
We designed the site around that flow rather than bolting the flow onto the site afterward. The reservation step had to work as well on a phone as on a desktop, and the forms carry the same protection we put on every form we ship: nonce verification, a honeypot, and rate limiting.
SEO for a Serbian-Language Market
The site serves the Serbian market in Serbian, a deliberate scope decision that made the SEO work sharper. We did the research directly in Serbian: how people actually search for rental cars and which terms carry booking intent. Then we implemented it on the site itself: title and heading structure, meta descriptions, structured data, internal linking, and the load speed that underpins all of it.
